9/18/18 6:10 AM PT — Donald Glover and Teddy Perkins were both photographed together at the Governors Ball after the "Atlanta" character was spotted in the crowd during the Emmys earlier that night. While the move delighted fans of the show (and confused others), it's unclear just who was under the makeup.
Donald Glover did not win the Emmy for Best Actor in a Comedy Series ... but he just stole the damn show.
If you blinked and missed it, Glover showed up the awards dressed as his creepy "Atlanta" character, Teddy Perkins. He only popped up on screen for two brief moments – once when Bill Hader took the stage to accept the award and then again at the end of his speech.
Glover was seen a short time later sitting in the crowd without the makeup.
In case you didn't watch this season of "Atlanta" — and shame on you if you didn't — Glover donned a boatload of makeup and prosthetics to play the character in a very strange episode of the hit FX comedy.
The episode scored a directing nomination for Hiro Murai, who lost as well.
