Demi Lovato Lets Her Vocals Rip During First Live Performance Since Overdose

Demi Lovato hit another milestone in her recovery as she performed in front of a crowd for the very first time since her near-fatal overdose.

Lovato seemed like her old self, smiling and dancing Tuesday night while performing at The Echo + Echoplex in Los Angeles for “Emo Nite.”

Standing onstage with Travis Clark from We The Kings, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer embodied the emotion in emo rock.

The last time we saw Lovato perform was in July, where she struggled to get through the lyrics of her song, “Sober,” just days before being hospitalized for a near-fatal overdose.

Since leaving treatment in November, Lovato has been focused on her sobriety and her MMA training.

She’s also been working hard to stay on track. As People reported, Lovato recently checked in for another stint in a treatment facility after seeking out help on her own accord. It’s a constant process, and Lovato is learning how to balance life and recovery.

No doubt, Demi looks like she’s taking positive steps towards a comeback in health, and hopefully some new music!
