4:25 PM PT: Both stars took the stand and testified. In the end, the judge felt here was insufficient evidence for longterm protection and denied the restraining order.
"Baywatch" star David Charvet and retired soccer star Jermaine Junior Jones are currently sitting feet from each other in a courtroom after hurling accusations of home wrecking and violent threats, and things are about to get intense.
Charvet and Jones both showed up Monday morning to a Los Angeles courthouse in order to battle it out over a restraining order. As we reported, Charvet filed a restraining order against the German-born soccer legend after he believed the actor was trying to move in on his wife, who has since filed for divorce.
Sources inside the courtroom described the awkward scene, explaining that Charvet and Jones are currently sitting on opposite sides of the courtroom as they wait for the judge to hear their case.
We're told Charvet is wearing a dapper suit and appears calm, while Jones also appears relaxed in his formal courtroom attire. Also in the courtroom is retired NBA star, Matt Barnes, who is in court for a hearing in the ongoing battle against Gloria Govan.
We're told Barnes and Jones struck up a conversation while waiting for their hearings to begin, but Charvet has been keeping to himself.
Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated on what goes down once the case is called.
