Dana White and Conor McGregor

Dana White Beefs Up Security for Conor McGregor UFC Presser

Dana White is not taking any chances of a repeat situation with Conor McGregor going crazy, and has a new strict set of rules for Thursday’s UFC media circus.

The UFC boss says first off there will be no fans attending the NYC press conference to announce the fight between The Notorious and Khabib Nurmagomedov. He also revealed that they have “triple” the security than usual.

This will be McGregor’s first big media event, other than his court hearing, since April’s incident at the Barclays Center when he went berserk on a backstage tour bus and ended up injuring several MMA fighters.

McGregor promised fans they could get in if they bought him a bottle of whiskey, but White says that unforutnately will not work. He suggests buying a bottle for the star anyways.

White also reveals some of the big celebs that want tickets for the upcoming bout in Las Vegas, including Megan Fox.

The Blast broke the story, McGregor’s trip to the U.S. for the press conference has already been filled with drama after his private plane was stopped by customs and members of his entourage were sent back home to Ireland.

Other than the fanfare around McGregor, White also talks about the future in the UFC for Jon Jones and when fans can expect to see him fighting.
