The guy who jumped on stage and attacked a standup comic during his set has been arrested and charged in the attack.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced on Wednesday that they arrested Marvin Toatley. He was charged with three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, one count of assault and battery third degree, and one count of malicious injury to property.

Toatley was taken into custody this morning and transported to the Alvin S Glenn Detention Center.

As The Blast previously reported, comedian Steve Brown was on stage at The Comedy House in Columbia, South Carolina when the attack went down.

Toatley fled the scene after the alleged attack, which left Brown with an injury suffered when Toatley allegedly struck Brown with the mic stand.
