Lili Reinhart Watches on as Cole Sprouse Raises Eyebrows With Haley Lu Richardson Amid Rumors of Split

Lili Reinhart sat home as Cole Sprouse walked the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet with Haley Lu Richardson, leaving many fans disheartened as split rumors continue to swirl around the "Riverdale" costars ... but Cole and Haley's appearance is not what it seems.

Cole, who plays Jughead on the hit series, was seen looking quite friendly with Haley on Sunday night before and during the show. The duo plays love interests in his new movie, "Five Feet Apart."

Sporting a hip-hugging black dress with high slit, Richardson showed ample cleavage and shared endless smiles with Cole as they presented Best Acting Ensemble at the award show. Diehard Bugheads were not impressed, especially because Lili and Cole didn't spend the holidays together and they haven't appeared on any red carpets this year as a couple.

While many speculate the duo have broken up, Lili actually supported Cole and Haley, posting a clip of them presenting with the caption "Hi goobers."

Richardson is actually engaged to "Jane The Virgin" actor Brett Dier and the foursome are good friends who have even gone on double dates together.

It's safe to speculate the studio had Cole and Haley walk the carpet together to promote their movie, which hits theaters March 22.

While it's true that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart haven't been spotted together in 2019 — and they've now walked a total of three carpets without each other — they have been active on each other's social media. While Cole spent his holidays in New Zealand with his "Riverdale" costar KJ Apa, Lili was constantly leaving comments on his pictures.

So, while it seems the two have drifted apart the past few months, it's safe to say Bugheads can rest on the split rumors for now.
