The "Lip Sync Battle" host and John Legend sat down with Andy Cohen on Thursday during "Watch What Happens Live." When a caller asked the Grammy-winning artist how he feels about Kim always doing damage control after Kanye's Twitter rants, Chrissy didn't hesitate to jump in.
"As a friend of Kanye, what do you think about those Twitter rants and Kim having to do that damage control on those?" the caller asked.
After John gave a generic answer, Chrissy let it rip.
"Coming from a wife's perspective, all you want to do — the roles are probably reversed in this — but all you want to do is protect the person that you love and be able to defend them at all costs," Chrissy said. "It really is tough."
"We all have our separate identities and we believe different things and as much as you love somebody they're going to f-up sometimes and they're going to say weird things," she added.
Chrissy Teigen's response comes just days after Kim Kardashian was blasted for attempting to spin Kanye's comments on R. Kelly.
Kim stated that Kanye was speaking from his "own experiences" and "not condoning anyone’s actions or unacceptable disgusting behavior.”
FYI - Kim and Kanye have been friends with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend for years and even rang in the New Year together back in 2012.
