Chris Pratt and Anna Faris just obtained a private judge to take them across the finish line in their divorce, and it just so happens his Honor is kinda responsible for Barack Obama becoming President of the United States. Let us explain.

The man tasked with finalizing the already settled divorce between the "Ralph Breaks the Internet" and the "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars is a retired judge named Robert A. Schnider. 72-year-old Judge Schnider stepped down as a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in 2008 after 27 illustrious years on the bench and enlisted in the private sector at Alternative Resolution Centers.

In fact, Judge Schnider's website touts his history handling high-profile domestic disputes throughout his career with celebs like Michael Jackson, David Hasselhoff, Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, and Anna Nicole Smith.

Way back in 2004, Republican U.S. Senate nominee Jack Ryan was strongly favored to win the upcoming election in Illinois against Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Rumors were swirling throughout the campaign race that Ryan had a kinky past with ex-wife, "Star Trek: Voyager" star Jeri Ryan, and that sealed court documents in Los Angeles may reveal what went on during the marriage.

Members of the Chicago media petitioned the court to release the unsealed documents, even though both Jeri and Jack filed documents requesting that they remain sealed.

However, Judge Robert Schnider unsealed over 300 pages of testimony and affidavits from the case, and the damage was fatal to Ryan's political career.

The documents detailed the actress' allegations that her husband took her to sex clubs in New York and Paris and pressured her to have sex with men. The news was so shocking that it caused Ryan to drop out of the Senate race. Obama later won the election, and the rest is history.

There's no doubt Judge Schnider will handle the end of Pratt and Faris' split with professionalism and class, but there's no way that case will hold a candle to facilitating the election of the Leader of the Free World.
