On February 23, 2017, "Jane Doe" claims she was introduced to one of Brown's friends, Lowell Grissom, while partying at 1 OAK, a popular nightclub in Los Angeles. In the photos we've obtained from that night, show the R&B singer was seen outside 1 OAK with a group of men and then spotted leaving the club with an unidentified female passenger in his vehicle. We've chosen to blur the woman's face.
This incident allegedly occurred just two days after Brown was ordered by a judge to stay away from his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran who accused him of domestic violence.
The lawsuit that was filed today by famed women's rights attorney Gloria Allred alleges that after leaving 1 OAK, Brown hosted an after-party in his home where he, Grissom and an unidentified female locked Jane Doe and other women in a room, took her cell phone and forced her to perform sexual acts against her will.
Doe also claims that guests at the party were encouraged to consume copious amounts of alcohol, “cocaine, ‘Molly,’ and marijuana." Doe says she saw Brown and Grissom with “multiple guns in the house,” and that Brown carried one gun in his waistband and brandished it openly.
During a press conference today, Allred said her client “filed this lawsuit because she wants justice for herself, but she also wants to warn other young women about the potential danger to themselves if they have their phone taken away and if they go to Chris Brown’s house.”
The civil lawsuit alleges sexual battery, gender violence, battery, assault, hate violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
