Ex-NFL star Chad Johnson can breathe a little easier now that the warrant for his arrest has been recalled.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Johnson had his lawyer head to Palm Beach County Court in Florida on Wednesday.
As The Blast first reported, a judge in Palm Beach County issued an arrest warrant for Ochocinco back in June because he failed to pay his fines or appear in court for driving with expired tags earlier this year.
The judge in the case recalled the arrest warrant after Johnson's attorney entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. His license had been suspended for blowing off a previous hearing, but he will now be able to get it reinstated.
Back in April, Johnson was pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol in Palm Beach County and was cited for expired tags and for driving while his license was suspended/revoked. A hearing was set for May 31, but Johnson didn't show.
Instead of paying a few hundred dollars in fines, an arrest warrant was issued by the judge and set bond for $2,000.
A hearing has been set for later this month.
