By TheBlast Staff

Carmen Argenziano — whose long career included appearances on dozens of classic television shows — has passed away at the age of 75.

Argenziano's talent agency, Event Horizon Talent, announced his passing on Sunday afternoon, saying, "It is with a heavy heart and more sadness than anyone can realize right now that I announce the passing of client Carmen Argenziano at the age of 75."

Perhaps best known for playing Jacob Carter on "Stargate SG-1," Argenziano also appeared on such shows as "CHiPs," "The Rockford Files," "Lou Grant," "The Greatest American Hero," "T.J. Hooker," "The A-Team," "Cheers," "Scarecrow and Mrs. King," "Hill Street Blues," "Cagney & Lacey," "Hunter," "Designing Women," "Melrose Place," "L.A. Law," "ER," "JAG," "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Party of Five," "The West Wing," "The Practice," "24," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "House," "CSI:NY," "The Young and the Restless," "Criminal Minds," "The Mentalist," "Castle" and more.

So, yeah ... if you've watched television in the last 30+ years, you've probably seen him at least once.
