Cardi B is going H.A.M. over allegedly getting booted out of a hotel after she and her team were accused of smoking weed, and the rap superstar is claiming the whole thing stinks of racism ... but the cops claim she's got it all wrong.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper just filmed a video calling out police officers in Albany, New York for waking her up Saturday in the middle of the night and accusing her of smoking weed.
She says that she does not smoke weed because it makes her paranoid, and makes it clear nobody on her team does either.
However, the Albany police Department tells The Blast they deny all claims of racism and say they weren't even the ones who woke Cardi B up. Her manager woke her up and made her exit the hotel after the entourage was asked to leave due to the party.
Cops say they merely showed up to assist the hotel management after the hotel called saying a party was going on and claimed they could smell marijuana.
Police admit Cardi B looked sleepy, and say she could have gone right back to bed.
They also say even though there was an odor of marijuana, no weed was found and no arrests were made.
Albany PD say Cardi B's real angst should lie with the Hilton.
Earlier in the evening, she performed at the Times Union Center as part of "The Homecoming" concert.
