Is Zac Efron a Bad Kisser? Ashley Tisdale Says Actor Was Her 'Worst' Onscreen Kiss

By Whitney Vasquez

Zac Efron is known as being Hollywood's hunk but when it came to kissing Ashley Tisdale she wasn't having it. The former Disney star dished about her off-putting onscreen kiss with her former "High School Musical" co-star during an interview with Elle Magazine. In a 2006 episode of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," her character, Maddie, kissed Efron’s character, Trevor, and Ashley Tisdale says although many fans dream of the chance to make out with Zac Efron, it wasn't as good as it seems but not because of his skills.

Why He Is Ashley's Worst:

“I’ll tell you why it was the worst, OK?” the actress told the magazine. “It’s the worst because I’m so close to him and he’s like my brother. At the time, he was used to acting on, like, Warner Bros, which is The CW, and we were on Disney Channel,” she added. As if that's not embarrassing enough, Ashley Tisdale went on to say that the "Baywatch" star tried to stick his tongue down her throat and she denied entry.

The Shade!!

“And so he, like, he tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, ‘Get away from me!’ I, like, closed my mouth so fast. I was like, ‘This is Disney Channel! We don’t kiss like that on Disney Channel!’" she recalled. "It’s just weird when you’re so close to somebody. We had already done [High School Musical]. I had known him for years before. That is why it was the worst. It’s just [that] we’re just too close." She also picked which Sprouse brother she'd rather be stuck on a desert island with and hint, it wasn't "Riverdale" star Cole Sprouse.

Zac's Recent Health Scare:

“You know, they’re both like my little brothers,” she said. “You know who texts me back all the time? Is Dylan Sprouse. He’s the one who texts me back. Cole, sometimes silence, so I’m taking Dylan. That’s for just ghosting on me, Cole.” As for Zac Efron, he's recovering after being rushed to a hospital in Australia while filming his upcoming TV show, "Killing Zac Efron," in Papua New Guinea. Australia's Sunday Telegraph reported he was airlifted to the hospital after contracting typhoid or a bacterial infection just before the holidays.
