Young Jeezy is firing back at his ex-fiancé’s claims he stopped paying child support saying she’s only making accusations because she’s jealous of his new woman, Jeannie Mai.

According to court documents obtained by Bossip, Jeezy is back in court battling his ex-fiancé and baby mama over child support and custody of their daughter Amra. Jeezy and Mahi were engaged back in 2016 but called it off.

The custody case was originally filed by Jeezy back in April 2019 and the two had reached a settlement. Per their deal, the rapper pays $7,500 a month in child support plus $30,000 for school tuition.

In the past couple of months, the dispute has flared up again with his ex Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin accusing the rapper of failing to pay the required child support for April. She asked the court to throw him in jail until he coughs up the cash, obtain insurance for their daughter and enroll in a co-parenting app to communicate with each other.

In newly filed docs, Jeezy says his ex is jealous of his relationship with “The Real” host Jeannie Mai.Jeezy proposed to Jeannie Mai at his Los Angeles home on March 27.

Jeezy says his ex’s motion was “a vindictive and malevolent response” which came after she learned about his engagement. He believes she is harassing him in court because she’s upset that he ended their relationship. He claims she has threatened to kill him and he fears for her mental state.

He denied owing child support for April and is asking the court to dismiss her motion.

As The Blast previously reported, earlier this year, Jeezy worked out a $30,000 deal with Mahi in the court battle. Mahi accused him of backing out of a deal to buy her a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Jeezy denied the accusations and settled the dispute.
