YG's Home Gets Raided As Cops Search for Security Footage In Connection with Deadly Shooting

By Gary Trock

YG's home in the Hollywood Hills is currently being raided by sheriff's officials who are searching for evidence in connection with a car chase and deadly shooting.

The search warrant was executed Thursday morning as Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies smashed through glass windows and stormed the residence.

Sources close to the situation tell us one of the things officials are searching for is security footage from the home to determine if YG's alibi add up about him not being involved in the incident that left a deputy wounded and an innocent bystander dead.

YG's exotic cars could be seen in the driveway of the modern mansion, and we're told the vehicles are also being searched for evidence of weapons and ammunition.

Sources tell us investigators have questioned YG, through his attorney, about the rapper's security footage looping after 72 hours, which could have possibly erased the video evidence of his alibi.

We're told the LASD homicide unit is conducting the search with assistance by the sheriff's gang task force, Operation Safe Streets.

We're told YG is not currently at his home, but there appear to be multiple people handcuffed at the scene as the investigation continues.

The entire ordeal stems from a black Cadillac Escalade that was involved in a high-speed pursuit and deadly shooting over 4th of July weekend, and was also registered to the gang-affiliated rapper.

YG has denied his involvement in the chase and shooting, and said, "I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood."

He continued, "I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn't learn of these events until after they happened."
