XXXTentacion's Ex-Girlfriend Claims She Was Booted From Vigil, Tributes Set Ablaze

XXXTentacion's ex-girlfriend, and alleged domestic abuse victim, says she was kicked out of the rapper's vigil after fans burned the items she brought along to pay tribute to the murdered hip-hop star.
Geneva Ayala addressed the matter on Instagram Tuesday night after allegedly attempting to attend the candlelight vigil organized outside RIVA Motorsports, where XXXTentacion was fatally shot the day before.

"They kicked me out of the vigil ... I wasn’t even there 25 minutes and i literally got pulled away from the memorial. i just wanted to stay. i wasn’t bothering anyone. this is unfair. i’m absolutely devastated," Ayala wrote on Instagram, adding attendees burned the items she left behind in X's honor.
She also posted a picture of what appeared to be the remnants of a torched globe, and said, "I left those those things for him. i didn’t bother anyone. i said nothing to no one. i can’t believe they’d do that. how did they let that happen. why would anyone let that happen, where is the respect? the globe, board, flowers and candles i brought for him were placed BEHIND THE CAUTION TAPE, AND THEY LET THEM GET THE SHIT AND SET IT ALL ON FIRE. he would’ve wanted me there. i have no fucking words."
In a video allegedly recorded after the incident at the vigil, Ayala is audibly in tears as she describes the events that occurred.
She first addressed her feelings surrounding X's death today, tweeting “It’s disgusting that people are speaking for me ... Everyone expecting me to be relieved or happy?! no, i’m broken.”
Many of his fans had claimed Ayala was lying about the allegations of abuse against the hip-hop star, and have unfairly levied blame at her for what happened to him. Her social media comments are littered with supposed fans of the late rapper bashing Ayala, while others are jumping to her defense.
As we reported, investigators have been following leads from social media sent in by fans of X and the public as they try to identify and arrest anyone connected to his murder.
