Will Smith seemed to address the 'separation' and relationship Jada Pinkett Smith had with August Alsina, in a newly resurfaced Instagram video, which statements sound eerily similar to details shared during the couple's recent 'Red Table Talk' interview.

In the clip, posted by several people online, the 'Bad Boys' star is filming himself for an Instagram live -- while driving around on a golf course.

The video, which appears to be filmed around 2018, Smith openly discusses his marriage issues with Jada Pinkett, even stating the same line he did in the recent interview, that the couple needed to go out an 'make themselves happy.'

He says in the selfie-style footage, "Love. I asked her what was one of the biggest revelations she had had about love. She said you cannot make a person happy. I thought that was a real deep idea."

He continued, "You can make a person smile, you can make a person feel good, you can make a person laugh, but whether a person is happy is deeply utterly and completely out of your control."

As the video continues, the A-list star seems to reference the couple's breakup and discusses how it ended up being healthy in the longterm for their marriage.

"I remember the day I said to Jada, "I retire. I retire from trying to make you happy. I need you to go make yourself happy and just prove to me it's even possible," he said.

Adding, "We started talking about it, we came into this false romantic concept that somehow when we got married we would become one."

As we reported, Will and Jada appeared on 'Red Table Talk' to discuss Pinkett's romantic relationship with August Alsina, and the actor seemed to acknowledge the same incident, joking he kicked her to the curb at the time.

"Not coming to each other begging with our empty cups out demanding that she fills my cup and demanding that she meets my needs," Will says in the video.

He continued, "It's unfair and it's kind of unrealistic. And it can be destructive to place the responsibility for your happiness on anybody other than yourself."

In the end, Will and Jada claim the situation only made them closer and are now deeply in love and together.
