Whitney Houston's Iconic 'Bodyguard' Costume Fetches Five Figures at Auction

Whitney Houston's iconic "Queen of the Night" costume from her 1992 movie "The Bodyguard" sold at auction this week and it fetched slightly more than Dr. Evil's outfit from "Austin Powers."
According to the folks at ScreenUsed's Hollywood Memorabilia Auction, Rachel Marron's famed metal garb — which has "some holes and rips from wear during filming" and some areas have "beads and chrome balls missing" — sold for $12,000 (all prices the final bid, plus buyers premium).
Dr. Evil's trademark costume sold for $9,600 – and not ONE MILLION DOLLARS — which was $600 less than Austin Powers' clothing went for (both worn by Mike Myers, of course).
Howard Wolowitz's space suit from "The Big Bang Theory" went for $12,000, Winona Ryder's hazmat suit from "Stranger Things" sold for $9,000, and a pair of Jawa boots from "Star Wars" fetched $7,800.

Grays Sports Almanac — Biff Tannen's most prized possession from "Back to the Future II" — sold for $9,600 and a raptor's foot from "Jurassic Park" fetched $9,600.
But the top-selling item is not something you wear, it's something you drive — the jeep from the "Transformers" spinoff "Bumblebee," which hasn't even hit theaters yet, sold for a cool $33,000.
Nice haul.
