While discussing Amie Harwick's tragic fall, Wendy Williams told her audience members she was “killed not by Drew.” The segment took a 180 when Wendy Williams joked, “Come on down!” -- the show's famous phrase that Drew Carey says every episode. She's also getting slammed for looking down at the ground which some suggest she was doing to emphasize Amie Harwick's deadly fall. While her audience members remained quiet during the jokes, fans at home who were watching couldn't believe their ears and immediately took to social media to critique the star.

"Rarely do I comment on things here. But just overheard @WendyWilliams making a joke about Drew Carey’s ex-fiancée being murdered. With a ‘come on down joke’ after she was thrown off a balcony. And people thought your fart was disgusting but what comes out of your mouth is worse," one person wrote on Twitter. “@WendyWilliams come on down? Real classy. Someone’s daughter was killed. Not funny. Owe family an apology #DrewCarey,” stated another. “I KNOW #WendyWilliams did NOT just make a ‘come down’ joke about Drew Carey’s ex-fiancée getting killed by being thrown off of a third floor balcony!!! Somebody tell me I heard that wrong, please… but the audience is stone-cold quiet,” wrote a third.

Amie Harwick, who was a famed Hollywood sex therapist, died in the hospital over the weekend after her fall. The L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner has ruled her cause of death as "blunt force injuries of the head and torso." The incident went down on Saturday around 1 AM in her Hollywood Hills home. Authorities responded to reports of a woman screaming and after making contact with Amie Harwick's roommate, they discovered her gravely injured after she plummeted off a third-story balcony.

Her manner of death is listed as "homicide," and an autopsy has been completed. Amie Harwick's ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, has since been arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. Drew Carey broke his silence following her sudden death releasing a statement to Variety that read, "Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime. She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation." He also took to Twitter and shared a sweet boomerang of the two.
