'Victorious' is Now on Netflix and People are Stanning Jade

You may remember this show from your pre-teen years on Nickelodeon. The show 'Victorious' aired on March 27th, 2010 and made its run until 2013. A show full of high school drama, epic singing battles, random theatrics and cute boys is what everyone wanted in a sitcom.

The show was recently added on Netflix and fans are living for it. The show follows Tori Vega, an aspiring singer who joins Hollywood Arts High School after taking her older sisters place

Tori meets a group of friends who get her through tough high school days, bizarre antics and situations. The cast includes Victoria Justice (Tori Vega) and Andre Harris (Leon Thomas III), Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), Rex Powers (Robbie's puppet), Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies), Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), and Beck Oliver (Avan Jogia).

Despite Tori being the main star, fans on social media are expressing their love for Tori's frenemy, Jade West. Jade is the exact opposite of Tori in many ways.

Jade is the goth in the group who wears all black and has dyed black hair with a streak of color. She is sarcastic and is labeled a 'mean girl', but not Regina George mean girl. Despite being the antagonist to Tori, she is still a valuable member of their friend group.

In the show, she has an on-again-off-again relationship with her boyfriend Beck, who is the heartthrob in the show that girls swoon over. She is also best friends with Cat who is bubbly and sweet, unlike Jade.

Fans on Twitter have been stanning Jade for being relatable, seeing as many fans are now adults and can fully appreciate Jade's snark attitude. Jade was the one character who broke the mold of the group. All her friends were more upbeat, positive and overall more than happy to see the bright side.

On the other hand, Jade was the tough girl with some major vocal cords and many fans are now realizing that she was actually better than Tori on many occasions.

She even had some great moments that you might have caught yourself doing also. For example, when someone asks jade what time it is she answers, " I'm not your clock!"

If you want to feel nostalgic watching one of your old favorite Nickelodeon shows or just seeing the glory that is Jade West, I would turn on Netflix. Trust me, you will have no problem finding something in common with the goth, talented and sarcastic Jade West.
