Vanessa Bryant Calls Kobe Bryant Her 'Forever Valentine' In Tearful Tribute

Vanessa Bryant is sharing her first Valentine's Day alone just weeks after her husband, Kobe Bryant, and their 13-year-old daughter, Gigi, lost their lives in a plane crash, but she's making sure to celebrate her "forever Valentine" on the late NBA star's "favorite holiday." The 37-year-old shared a tearful message on Friday dedicating the post to the former Lakers legend. Posting an adorable throwback photo with Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant expressed her love for her late husband while emotionally mentioning her teenage daughter too.

In the photo, Kobe Bryant is sweetly kissing Vanessa Bryant's cheek as she sits on his lap. She's seen wearing a red tube top with her hair back in a braid and sporting the biggest smile across her face. Pairing the sweet snap with Lauren Hill's tearful love ballad, "Tell Him," Vanessa Bryant wrote an emotional message to match her photo. Addressing her post to her "forever Valentine," Vanessa Bryant wrote, "I love you so much. Missing you so much on your favorite holiday."

Remembering Gigi:


"Te amo per sempre," she continued, which means "I love you forever" in Italian. Bringing in their daughter, Gigi, Vanessa Bryant added, "Kisses to you and Gigi in heaven. Happy Valentine’s Day, my babies." Ending her heartfelt message, Kobe Bryant's widow signed off with the pet name he gave her. "With all my love, your boo-boo," she wrote. Lauren Hill plays a significant role in the former couple's life. In fact, Vanessa Bryant surprised her husband with tickets to watch the singer at the Hollywood Bowl in 2018. They even met her backstage after the show and Kobe Byrant was thrilled.

Kobe Bryant shared a photo of his wife and the singer following the concert and had the biggest smile on his face. As The Blast reported, Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant lost their lives on January 26 when their helicopter crashed into a hill and burst into flames. 7 others were also on board. There were no survivors.

Kobe & Gigi's Memorial:


Kobe Bryant and Gigi's cause of death was revealed as "blunt trauma." The manner of death was certified as an "accident." Kobe Bryant and his daughter were reportedly laid to rest in a side by side plot at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California. According to reports, the plot sits on the very top of the cemetery and overlooks the Newport Coast area where the Bryant family has their home. Their memorial will take place on February 24 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets have already gone on sale and start at $224 in honor of Kobe Bryant and Gigi's basketball numbers. Gigi's jersey number was 2 and Kobe's was 24.
