"Vanderpump Rules" star Tom Schwartz is breaking his silence on his former co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute's firing, two months after Bravo axed the OGs. Addressing the news alongside his castmember Lala Kent on the latest episode of her podcast, "Give Them Lala ... with Randall," Tom Schwartz said, "it doesn't feel real" and "I support them."

Tom Schwartz had a close bond with the two considering they were his wife Katie Maloney's best friends and the trio was in business together prior to their firing.

He's 'In Denial'

"I don't think I've processed it. It doesn't feel real," the 37-year-old said on the podcast released on Friday, August 7. "I hope it doesn’t seem like a cop-out, but I just honestly haven’t processed it. Maybe I’m running from it a little bit or I’m in denial that it ever happened."

Revealing that "Vanderpump Rules" has yet to be picked up for a ninth season, Tom Schwartz said it's perfectly capable of continuing to be a hit without Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute.

Still Supports Stassi & Kristen:

"I’m optimistic about the future of 'Vanderpump Rules,'” he stated. "I feel like the show still has legs, it still has so much life to give. But it’s never going to be the same, that’s for sure." Tom Schwartz, who has branched out as co-owner of Lisa Vanderpump's bar TomTom, also stated that despite the controversy, he still supports Stassi and Kristen.

"I love my friends and I support them. It’s been rough but we’ll be okay, we’ll get through it," he added. As The Blast reported, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired after a racist incident involving Faith Stowers resurfaced but they weren't the only "Vanderpump Rules" stars to go.

Can The Show Go On?

Max Boyens, who is the manager at TomTom, as well as SUR waiter Brett Caprioni were axed too over their past racist tweets. Tom Schwartz is one of the last "Pump Rules" stars to speak out about the firings. As far as the show goes, many fans believe that season eight newcomer Danica Dow has plenty of drama to give to the show.

She was recently granted a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, SUR bartender Brett Willis after claiming he broke into her home and shredded all of her clothes with scissors. He responded by filing his own restraining order, accusing Danica of putting her hands on him and even choking him during one argument.
