Stassi Schroeder is feeling all the emotions after being fired from “Vanderpump Rules.” The 31-year-old has been “crying” and obviously “sad,” but she’s also “angry” after losing not only her job but her endorsements and sponsors too. As The Blast reported, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were let go from Bravo after racial comments they made in the past resurfaced. Now, a source is speaking out and revealing what the former SUR server is going through after being “blindsided” from the fallout.
“Stassi has been very emotional by this situation and has been sad and crying, and also angry,” an insider told Us Weekly. Not prepared for her life unraveling, the source added, “She feels blindsided that she was fired and lost her podcast and sponsorships.”
As The Blast reported, the “Vanderpump Rules” duo was cut loose after an incident against Faith Stowers came to light. In 2018, they called the cops on their former co-star because she looked like a black woman who was wanted for robbery.
Prior to being fired, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute took to social media and issued their own individual apologies but it wasn’t enough for fans who demanded the girls be canned from Bravo. Along with losing several endorsements, Stassi Schroeder’s talent agency and PR company cut ties with her. Kristen Doute felt the backlash too. Her book company dropped her as well.
The girls released a statement via their new rep, Steve Honig, on Friday, June 12, speaking out for the first time since being fired.
“Stassi and Kristen acknowledged what they did was wrong, have apologized and been punished. Without casting aside their actions or the impact of those actions, they want to move forward as part of the solution in ways that are productive, meaningful and sincere. Both of them recognize actions speak louder than words and that is what will guide them as they move forward,” the statement read.
While Stassi Schroeder has remained hidden in her $2 million Hollywood Hills home, Kristen Doute put on a brave face while out and about in Los Angeles.
Keeping it casual while running errands with her boyfriend and dogs, the ex “Vanderpump Rules” star was seen for the first time just hours after being let go from the network. Appearing visibly upset, Kristen Doute seemed as if she has been crying all day.
Immediately after they were let go, fans called on Bravo to take action against other stars on the network. “RHOC” Kelly Dodd and Jax Taylor are on the top of that list. As of now, Bravo has not addressed anyone else that could be on the chopping block.
