“Vanderpump Rules” fans are demanding Lisa Vanderpump be removed from her own show amid accusations she ignored her costars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute’s racism for years.
The uproar over the cast continues to grow following Bravo’s decision to fire Stassi and Kristen over their reported racist actions against Faith Stowers. The two called the police to falsely accuse Faith of robbery in 2018.
The network released a statement reading, “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules.”
The decision came after Faith spoke out about her experience on “Vanderpump Rules” on Instagram Live. She accused Stassi and Kristen of making her life hell from day one. Faith said, “But with Lisa, I was shocked by the most… When she first approached me, she was very happy about the fact that there was going to be a black person on the show. It was like, “I want you to put them in their place, kind of give them this NeNe Leakes attitude.’ And I was very nice coming on, I wasn’t really giving her that show she needed from me. That’s why you don’t see me in the confessional, in my opinion.”
Fans have decided the four being let go is not enough and are calling for Lisa Vanderpump to be removed immediately. One wrote before the network’s announcement, “Really!!!!! Fire racist cast members including Ramona Singer of RHONY & half of the cast of Vanderpump Rules…, Stassi, Brett , Max & Lisa Vanderpump for consistently turning a blind eye to Racism!”
Another pointed out, “Lisa Vanderpump is trying to show how she doesn’t tolerate racism but she didn’t fire any of them until it became public. Also there hasn’t been a main black cast member…like…ever! She’s not so innocent either. #PumpRules #vanderpumprules #VANDERPUMPISDONE”
“CANCEL #PUMPRULES The show is based on racism, homophobia, and misogyny. It’s disgusting. FIRE @lisavanderpump,” said one person.
Another commented, “as a longtime fan of vanderpump rules, retribution for faith feels like the greatest way to shut the entire thing down. lisa defended employing brett and max, fire her too!!!”
