'Vanderpump Rules' Star Kristen Doute Admits She Acted Wrong With Faith Stowers, Learning About Anti-Racism

By Ryan Naumann

“Vanderpump Rules” star Kristen Doute says she was wrong for the way she treated Faith Stowers and says she is working on educating herself about racism.

Kristen sat down for her first interview since being fired from “Vanderpump Rules” on the 'Hollywood Raw' podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn. During the 30-minute chat, Kristen opened up about the situation and the lessons she learned from it all. The entire interview with Kristen will be released first thing Wednesday morning.

The Blast obtained soundbites from the chat where Kristen appears to be extremely remorseful about her past actions. She spoke about her accusing Faith of a robbery on social media. She said, “It was definitely none of my business to take anything to social media (and) essentially send a mob out to this person. Especially… because she’s black. It was really just not my place to go there."

The reality star opened up about what she learned from it all, “I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned, is that I have so much to learn. And I know that’s super cliché and a lot of people say that but it’s absolutely true because I think that I thought that I understood racism but now I’m really learning about unconscious bias. Learning about anti-racism. Learning about how we can do things locally to really truly make changes and putting work into your community locally to make those changes I think (are) so important."

She admitted, "At the end of the day I’m not a fucking saint, I’m doing the best that I can. I’m human and I make mistakes all the time and I’m just trying to do something every day that makes this a little bit better for everyone."

As The Blast previously reported, Kristen and Stassi Schroder were fired from “Vanderpump Rules” after Faith Stowers spoke out. She accused them of making her life hell and calling the police to falsely accuse her of a robbery.

Both have apologized for their actions.
