Katie Maloney is expanding her empire beyond SUR! The “Vanderpump Rules” star is moving her gift of gab from the TV screen to behind the mic. She just revealed she’s following in her co-star LaLa Kent’s footsteps and starting her own podcast. The new gig is titled, “You’re Gonna Love Me” and fans won’t have to wait long to hear the first episode because it launches in one week on August 14. Katie Maloney made the exciting announcement on her social media just moments ago.
Clearly excited to bring her talents behind the mic, Katie Maloney made announced her new venture on Friday, August 7 and the first topic is judgment. Taking to her Instagram, the Bravo personality gave a taste of what’s to come in the first episode and it’s an interesting one considering her best friends Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were just put through the wringer after being fired for a racist incident involving former co-star Faith Stowers. Admitting that no one’s perfect, Katie Maloney said her goal with the podcast is to “open up a conversation.”
Opening the teaser by saying you either “hated me or loved to hate me” on “Vanderpump Rules,” the 33-year-old commented on being labeled a “bitch,” “bully,” and “mean girl” but said “there’s so much more to me than what you see on TV.”
Tom Schwartz wife introduced the first topic of the show by continuing, “We’ve all judged, we’ve all been judged, but what I want to do is open up a conversation about where we’re all coming from.” She added, “No one is all good and no one is all bad.”
While she did not mention Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, or any of the Bravo firing drama in the teaser, the topic alone alludes to the situation with her friends. As The Blast reported, Stassi and Kristen lost everything after they were fired from “Vanderpump Rules” in June. The network axed them after an incident with Faith Stowers resurfaced.
Faith recalled the incident that occurred in 2018 when the girls called the cops and falsely reported her because she looked like a black woman who was wanted for robbery.
