Barker’s daughter, Alabama, with Shanna Moakler, posted screenshots to her Instagram from alleged direct messages she received from 20-year-old Graham Sierota, the drummer for the indie-pop band, Echosmith.
The DM’s appear to show repeated attempts by Graham to get in touch with Alabama back in 2016 when she was 10, with multiple messages sent just saying, “Hi.”
At one point, Graham appears to say, “By the way I’m Graham from echosmith and I think ur beautiful.”
Alabama did not respond to the messages, but on July 12, 2019 he appeared to re-engage and send Barker’s daughter an invite to a BBQ he was hosting at his house.
Alabama finally responded on July 21, and wrote, “Ur like 40.”
Graham allegedly responded shortly after with, “I just wanted to say i really like ur music and sorry for messaging and I’m 20.”
The last message sent from Alabama reads, “Ok but u understand I’m a child?”
It’s clear that whatever the alleged intent was from Graham, Alabama felt that he was pursuing her in an inappropriate manner.
Travis Barker also felt that way about the conversation, and he’s extremely upset over the ordeal.
Barker tells The Blast, “When I found out a 20 year old man was trying to get in touch with my 13 year old daughter by filling her Instagram messages with party invites and compliments I was disgusted.”
Barker continues, “That’s predatory behavior and there is nothing cool, normal or ok about it at all.”
Alabama publicly ripped Graham on Instagram, along with a message reading, “Hey guys! So once again I am bringing this to your attention because I’m a 13 year old girl and he is 21 / 20 super creepy.”
Shortly after she spoke out on the situation, people began contacting Alabama claiming they have heard similar allegations against Graham.
“Graham has a history of contacting underage girls,” one message read.
As of now, Travis Barker has not taken any other action over the situation.
8/1 — Graham has issued a statement to The Blast, apologizing to Travis Barker and Alabama, and admitting he learned a “big lesson.”
