All this financial drama comes following accusations of racism after Tori posted a photo of her daughter Hattie wearing a green handkerchief on her head and Cheetos on each of her fingertips. She wrote, “Hattie has become McQuisha in her Cheeto extension nails!”
People quickly ripped into Tori calling her post disgusting and racist. Tori posted an apology saying she wasn’t trying to offend anyone. Tori claimed her daughter liked to watch reruns of Martin and loved the character Shanaynay.
Tori claimed, “She made up that name with “Mc” bc her last name is McDermott. She was reenacting the other the top fun and amazing character from Martin. She is innocent and didn’t mean anything by it. I should have thought about how it could have been perceived and misconstrued before I posted. I did not. I’m truly sorry.”
