Update: We're told Rachel Uchitel was set to go to trial over custody, however after COVID-19 hit, she and her ex-husband decided to work out their differences outside of the courtroom.

They are now co-parenting and share custody of their daughter Wyatt.

The woman who was at the center of the Tiger Woods cheating scandal is back in the headlines after losing custody of her 7-year-old daughter. But, she says the allegations her ex-husband made in court are bogus and she is asking for the public's help in fighting him.

Rachel Uchitel has been in a long legal war with her ex-husband Matt Hahn, who she shares a 7-year-old daughter with (Wyatt) after he took temporary custody of the young girl.

Uchitel started a GoFundMe page to help with the legal bills it will take to fight him in court.

You may remember, Rachel's text messages to Tiger Woods are what sparked the golfer leaving his home, crashing into his neighbor's yard, and eventually being divorced from his wife Elin. At the time, many women came forward about having affairs with the golfer.

The model explained the terrible situation in detail on the GoFundMe page:

"My ex-husband has taken temporary custody of my seven-year-old daughter and I am only allowed visitation through child protective services until court on Feb 24!! I have seen my daughter one time since dec 26th. I have been in and out of court since 2015 with my ex on the basis of him being in default in child support and lack of payment of his 50 percent of his responsibilities (school, camp, etc)" she began.

She claims he uses this tactic anytime they are fighting over custody, he goes in and files for full temporary custody.

She continued, "His tactic EVERYTIME was to file for full custody so he doesn’t have to pay child support. Last year we were in court 2x already about this!! We settled already in Supreme Court, with him giving me primary custody and him having to pay arrears for everything he owed. Yet here we are today and he has gone down to family court and filed papers citing a BUNCH OF LIES (like I have a history of being in rehab!!"

As you know, Rachel starred in one season of VH1's 'Celebrity Rehab.' But, at the time she was in "rehab" on the show for love addiction. In other words, she was a big star at the time and they needed the big name on the show.

She addressed the show in her message, saying, "Umm everyone can google that I was on a SHOW called celeb rehab for LOVE ADDICTION!! 10 years ago. Way before Wyatt was born- not even relevant to today!!"

Rachel is asking that anyone who reads her story will donate to her legal bills and help her fight for her daughter back.

"My day in court is Feb 24th and I need a lawyer. I have spent over 120k on lawyers against this guy in the last couple years. I just closed my business and i have no current income. I tried to fight the first round representing myself, and it backfired. I need a lawyer and learned there is no way I can do this without one. Please help me! The layers need a 15k retainer to do the work- I have met with a good number of them. The numbers are all the same for this type of battle. This is my child. I am not what Matt is saying about me. I do not deserve what he is doing," she says.

She continued, "Anything you can do you help me hire someone and urgently is so appreciated. WYATT IS MY LIFE. No one should ever go through what I’m going through. A child should not get a parent taken for no reason, and let the other parent determine the narrative. Help me fight. Help me show the truth can win and overpower the lies. I will forever be grateful and will be in your corner I’m sure when you need in the future. Things happen for a reason."
