Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel have reportedly buried the hatchet after the two traded insults several years back.

Although the two have worked together on other Fast & Furious movies, The Rock and Diesel have been on the outs for a while, with notable fights that spilled out during production for the film The Fate Of the Furious n 2016.

'Candy-Ass' Comment Now a Sweet Nothing?

During one of those fights, Johnson referred to some unnamed people as "candy asses." It was later revealed that he was talking about Diesel.

And then in 2018, Johnson had this to say about Vin Diesel:

“I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have," then said:

“Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We’ll just keep it with the clarity.”

Rock Ramped Up

The Rock posted a two-minute-long video on Instagram in which he thanks fans of the "Fast and Furious" franchise for their support of the latest movie in the series, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, which was released Aug. 2.

In his Instagram video, The Rock gives a shoutout to "brother Vin" for his support of the new movie as well.

“Lastly, but not least, I want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw … My goal was always, all these years, to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could.”
