Nick Viall first appeared on our television screens in 2014 when he was on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette. Not only did he receive the first impression rose on the first night, but he was also one of the last two left standing during the final rose ceremony. However, he broke our collective hearts with his tears when Andi chose Josh Murray over him, and he was left devastated.
He later appeared in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette in 2015 when he showed up during a group date and asked if he could join the cast. He once again made it to the final rose ceremony only to be dumped once more when Kaitlyn chose Shawn Booth.
Nick decided he was not done looking for love (or having his heart stomped on) when he appeared in the third season of Bachelor In Paradise. By the time the final rose ceremony came around, Nick was dating contestant Jen Saviano and even picked out a Neil Lane engagement ring to propose with. Maybe getting down on one knee for the third time is the charm right?
However, Nick got cold feet, and ended their relationship telling her, “I wanted to say I was in love with you, but something in my heart just said I can’t.”
Nick was not yet done with The Bachelor franchise, and by August 2016 he was announced as the newest bachelor for season 20. He chose contestant Vanessa Grimaldi, proposing in the end (anyone keeping tabs on the number of times Nick has proposed?!) The couple split just a year later in August 2017.
Nick has gone on to create quite a career for himself after his many television appearances, even appearing on Dancing With The Stars in 2017. Well, he wouldn’t want us saying, “Nick who?” in the future, now would he?
Nick is clearly no stranger to the dating world and seems to use The Bachelor franchise as his own personal Tinder.
However, this past year has seen him linked to a bevy of celebrity women, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
He was recently linked to Demi Burnett, a fan favorite from the show, who just broke up with her fiance Kristian Haggerty after they got engaged on the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise. Nick and Demi were seen at a Halloween party holding hands, however, Demi’s bestie Hannah Brown told Life and Style, “Oh, no. They were just having a good time. They’re really good friends.”
Rachel Bilson recently appeared on Nick’s podcast in July, and dating rumors inevitably began to fly about the pair.
Rachel left a comment on one of Nick’s Instagram pictures saying, “I see that you went with BOLD.” Fans went nuts, insisting they should be dating and trying to push the two together.
It seems as if Nick isn’t looking for anything serious at the moment however, telling Us, “I’m certainly hoping to settle down when the right person comes. I’m not trying to put pressure on myself.”
So, it seems as if Nick would like us all to cool our jets and stop shipping him with every girl he encounters, however his dating history makes us think he won’t be single for long.
