Teyana Taylor Shuts Down Trolls Who Slammed Her For Social Distancing 'Fail'

Teyana Taylor found herself at the center of backlash after attending a large event and seemingly failing to wear a mask or maintain social distancing. It all went down in Beverly Hills at her "The Album" listening party on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. The singer was seen hanging out in large groups and posing up a storm with several other stars all while not covering their faces with masks, which left many of her fans lashing out at her on social media.

Followers shared their outrage on social media after Teyana Taylor posted photos from the event, which included stars like Cardi B, "Claws" actress Karrueche Tran, "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris, model Winnie Harlow and several others. Showing herself hugging on everyone, Teyana Taylor blew fans' minds by seemingly ignoring all the rules.

"You really said f it masks off huh?" one fan commented. "So we just going to ignore that coronavirus is still out there?" asked another. "What the hell? What are you guys doing? This is so reckless," pointed out a third.

The "Bare Wit Me" singer stopped the "the internet covid experts" in their tracks by clapping back in the most epic way. Shutting them down before trolls completely spiraled, the pregnant star later captioned the snaps by writing, "FYI for all the internet covid experts 🙄😜we had REAL Covid Police & medics that made sure we were all safe and able to have a good time all while following covid regulations." She also informed followers that "custom “#TheAlbum” Masks and hazmat suits were also provided!"

Making it clear that she appreciates all the worry, Teyana Taylor ended her fierce rant by saying, "thanks for the concerns but mama is just fine 😘." Not only were the comments full of covid trolls but also excited fans who didn't realize Teyana Taylor and her husband, Iman Shumpert, were expecting their second child. The singer revealed the exciting news in her music video "Wake Up Love." The duo is already parents to four-year-old daughter Iman Tayla (aka Junie).
