Tekashi 6ix9ine just slapped his face on one of the biggest billboards in all of New York City, and the rapper is backing down his statement -- HE is the true 'King' Of the NYC!

In a new set of images, posted by DJ Akademiks on Instagram, Tekashi 69's face is plastered on one of the tallest billboards in New York's Time's Square.

It is a HUGE move on the part of the notorious rapper, who is betting on the fact he still has fans willing to buy his music, despite Tekashi 69 being one of the biggest snitches in history.

The billboard has a direct message, Tekashi is dropping a new single Friday, May 8 and with that move he wrote, "The King Is Back!"

The picture includes the rapper sporting a puffy rainbow jacket and his hair in braids. Interestingly it looks like he hasn't colored it again since being locked up in prison.

"While a few NY rappers going back n forth over who is the king of New York. #6ix9ine just got the biggest billboard in Times Square ... announcing he’s dropping a song tomorrow and going live at IG live at 3 PM. Is he finna reclaim the throne as king or an? -- Akadmiks wrote on IG.
