A Violent Outburst

Earlier this year, Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason shot and killed her dog Nugget after it nipped at their 2-year-old daughter. After the incident, Eason posted on Instagram saying,

"I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. … You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME."

Addressing The Incident

Since then, Eason has been in anger management and Evans addressed the issue during an Instagram Story Q&A, admitting that it was difficult to stay with him after he shot and killed her dog.

"Honestly yes, we were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn't talk much. He knows how upset it made me. Now that we're getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well."

Regaining Custody

After shooting and killing the family dog, Eason and Evans temporarily lost custody of three of their children (Evans' son 9-year-old son Jace lives with her mother Barabara full time). However, a judge ruled in their favor and the children are once again at home. Evans told People,

"I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back! Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I'm a good parent."
