Andrew Glennon took to Instagram on Tuesday night and unleashed on his embattled ex and others involved with the production of “Teen Mom.”
Via his Instagram Stories, Glennon first called out many of the advertisers and sponsors for “Teen Mom,” including Taco Bell, Target, Maybelline, Amazon, Hersheys and Olive Garden.
“These corporations apparently are in full support of domestic violence in the presence of a minor,” adding that, “Silence speaks volumes.”
Glennon then appeared to address the producers of “Teen Mom” directly as he lashed out against a possible upcoming storyline with Portwood working on redemption since her arrest for domestic violence.
Glennon listed the “Redemption story” that he was looking forward to, which included “not hitting those who love you … not using drugs daily … loving and respecting children.”
He also listed, “Ending all psychological abuse,” before adding, “hope it plays for camera.”
Glennon is clearly upset about Portwood’s continuing participation in “Teen Mom,” and appears to feel that the show is exploiting the tragic situation his family is dealing with.
Even though many will say, “that’s what you signed up for,” after Portwood’s arrest it seems there is some dirty laundry Glennon would rather not be aired.
He continued his rant on IG:
“Is it morally sound and socially acceptable to capitalize on domestic violence and spousal abuse? If so, where is the line? Is there a line? What message is that to our children?”
He added, “The silent witnesses are just as guilty as the perpetrators.”
In more positive news, Glennon provided an update on baby James to let fans know that the young boy is thriving in a stable environment.
“In other news, James has blossomed into the most loving and outgoing little man. At the park now and the amount he has progressed is not easily put into words. Exponentially brilliant.”
As we reported, Portwood is due in court on Halloween to deal with her domestic violence charges.
