A Netflix documentary about Taylor Swift's life will headline the 2020 Sundance Film Festival in January.

Taylor Swift: Miss Americana is being described by the streaming giant as "a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice."

As news of "Miss Americana" dropped, it was also confirmed that music executive Scooter Braun cleared all of Swift's back catalog for use in the documentary.

Swift has been in a well publicized fight with Braun and Scott Borchetta over the rights to her early music. Borchetta and Braun own her masters.

Swift has also said that the two were blocking her from singing a medley of her songs at the American Music Awards, but now she's been cleared to "stream past shows, and rebroadcast (music) on mutually approved platform(s)," paving the way for her documentary.
