Taraji P. Henson Shines (But Not Brighter Than Her Diamond) In First Appearance Since Engagement

Taraji P. Henson was positively glowing while displaying her engagement ring for the first time in public.

The "Empire" star walked solo Monday evening at Fox's Upfronts red carpet in New York, just two days after getting engaged to former NFL player Kelvin Hayden. Henson couldn't contain her excitement, eagerly showing off her giant rock to photographers. It was hard to look away from the sparkler, and you can tell how happy she is to be getting married.

As The Blast reported, Henson and Hayden have been dating for years but rarely are photographed on the red carpet together. The actress announced her engagement Monday, revealing Henson proposed on Mother's Day.
