Tamar Braxton‘s sisters are talking about death just one month after the 43-year-old reportedly attempted to take her own life. The “Braxton Family Values” star was rushed to the hospital on July, 16 and while her famous siblings have talked about the scary incident, they are now reflecting on the importance of life.
When Traci Braxton paid tribute to Brian “Slick Rick” Williams with a heartfelt post over the weekend, her words meant even more after what she went through with her sister.
Showing a throwback photo with Brian “Slick Rick” Williams in the studio, Traci Braxton remembered her friend. “I really want to send my condolences to the williams family for the passing of Brian “Slick Rick” Williams in the middle @slickdaddyrick1 .. he was a true legend in the DMV Go-Go Music Community… #RIH Brotha,” she wrote.
That’s when she turned the focus to give her fans advice on treating those who are still here with love every single day, something that inspired Toni Braxton to later share.

“Life is so short give people their flowers while their here!!” Traci Braxton added. Later, Toni mirrored her sister’s message. Posting a single red rose on her Instagram page, the “Spell My Name” singer wrote, “Give people their flowers while they’re here. ?Love your loved ones.”
As The Blast reported, Toni Braxton was the only sibling photographed entering the hospital after Tamar Braxton’s suicide attempt. She’s been in reflection mode lately, despite the success of her new album. The Grammy winner recently shared a throwback picture with Tamar and talked about getting away with her sister.
The “Unbreak My Heart” singer shared the bittersweet memory and captioned it by writing, “We had so much fun. Dreaming of being able to go on a sister trip again ? #tbt ?♀️.” Interestingly enough, the shot was from a family trip captured on their We TV reality show.
Two weeks after her hospitalization, Tamar Braxton broke her silence about the incident. She opened up about the stigmas behind mental health issues and fiercely doubled down on pointing the finger at We TV executives.
