Danny Tidwell, a respected dancer who was runner up on season three on "So You Think You Can Dance," has passed away at the age of 35. Emmy-winning choreographer Travis Wall, who's mom reportedly adopted Tidwell when he was 12, broke the news on Saturday, revealing Danny Tidwell died the day before with a tear-jerking social media post. Saying his “heart is broken," Travis Wall began his heartbreaking message by writing, “Yesterday I lost a brother. And we all lost a gift. I’m not ready. But I never think I will be. Because I can’t believe this is real. I can’t believe you’re gone."

Sharing several photos of the duo growing up together, Travis Wall described their close relationship. "You were more than my brother. You were my inspiration. I idolized you growing up. Wanted to dance just like you. Wanted to be you!" he wrote. Adding that he wishes "I could jump in your arms again like we used to when we were kids and onstage dancing," the 32-year-old choreographer, who started his career on "SYTYCD" Season, referred to Danny Tidwell as a “legend.”

"We will all remember the joy and passion you brought to everyone you came in contact with through out your journey," he continued. "A journey cut to short. You are a legend. And I love you so much Danny." Signing off, Travis Wall ended his emotional post, "Rest In Peace my brother. I can’t believe I’m even typing this . Please pray for my mom and my family during this difficult time." Travis Wall also showcased a throwback video of him and Danny Tidwell dancing together. "Danny. Promise me we recreate our first duet together whenever we meet again. Watching this makes me smile. I miss you so much already. #RIP," he captioned the old video.

World-renown dance legend and choreographer Debbie Allen also dedicated a sweet tribute to the fallen "SYTYCD" star.“ Danny Tidwell, our beautiful dancing genius ‘Prince amongst Paupers’ you are in God’s Ensemble. We will always speak your name with love and respect. See you on the other side. ???? Love, Mama D,” she touchingly wrote. Debbie Allen also posted a clip showing Danny Tidwell dancing. "This is how I will always see you Danny Tidwell. We speak your name.???? #dannytidwell," she wrote on the video. No details surrounding Danny Tidwell's death have been reported.
