It's a well known fact that many celebrities live lavish lifestyles. Magnificent homes. Luxury cars. Designer clothes and expensive jewelry. Fame often begets fortune, and with it, these stars can afford all that their hearts' desire. But as is the case with so many things, success is relative. As far as it relates to money, most celebrities are best described as being rich. A few, however, are staggeringly wealthy. Some of them built their fortunes on their singular talent. Others amassed their impressive net worths by proving to be multi-talented.

Beyonce, his wife of nearly twelve years, built her own $500 million fortune as a singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. He made a good portion of that from his work in the entertainment industry. But as one of the three founders of Casamigos Tequila, he pocketed a few hundred million when the company was sold in 2017. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld built his $950 million fortune as one of the creators of the sitcom Seinfeld. Considered one of the best sitcoms ever made, the syndication rights alone are worth hundreds of millions .

Michael Jordan is far more than the greatest basketball player in history. One of the most marketable athletes in history, he has represented such big-name brands as Nike, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and Gatorade. He is also the principal owner of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats and part-owner of MLB's Miami Marlins. It's no wonder his net worth is in excess of $1 billion. His close friend, Tiger Woods, amassed his estimated $750 million fortune by being the world's greatest golfer and branding himself accordingly through endorsement deals with Nike, Gatorade, General Motors, General Mills, Titleist and American Express.
