“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis is starting to feel the consequences of her racist messages and lost a valuable gig.

The clothing store, Gwynn's of Mount Pleasant, released a statement today announcing they will no longer be working with Kathryn. In the past, the reality star had been a brand ambassador for the company.

The statement read, “As a minority-owned business, Gwynn’s and our employees are dedicated to serving all members of our community. Indisputably Kathryn Dennis’ comments and statements to Tamika Gadsen do not reflect the values of the Gwynn’s brand. Her previous affiliation as a brand ambassador was periodic and on a contract basis. We stand in unity with people of color and with causes that fight to end injustices.”

One person who liked the post was Kathryn’s former co-star, Cameran Eubanks.

The decision to cut ties with Kathryn comes after direct messages she sent to a black radio host, Tamika Gadsen, were leaked.

The two were arguing about a scheduled “Trump Boat Parade” in South Carolina. Kathryn said supporting Trump did not make her racist. At one point in the conversation, Kathryn wrote to Tamika, “grow a pair. You’re an L 7 weeeeeenieeee. That’s how serious I take this” along with a monkey emoji.

Gadsden released the messages saying, “This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy.”

The “Southern Charm” star issued a half-hearted apology after catching heat. Fans have been calling for her to be fired from the Bravo show.

One wrote, “This “apology “ is too little too late. It’s a shame that we don’t think before we speak and or type. I don’t believe that you are apologetic, but because your racism came shining through and you got called on it now you’re sorry. #cancelkathryndennis

“Really tired of the "spew racist comment/comparisons and then publicly apologize for offending anybody to save face and ratings play" you know what you meant when you said it. #TrueColorsshowing,” said one fan.

Bravo has yet to comment.
