“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis is getting support from her ex Thomas Ravenel as the fallout from her racist messages continues to grow.

Kathryn’s baby daddy tweet, “Say what you will about @KathrynDennis, she is not a racist. Some of her good friends are people of color and I’ve never, ever heard a racial slur come out of her mouth. She doesn’t even think about race or even consider it. This is a very unfortunate mistake.”

Thomas reportedly deleted the tweet shortly after posting. His support comes as Kathryn is starting to lose jobs over her racist messages.

The situation started when Kathryn started fighting with a black radio host, Tamika Gadsen, over a “Trump Boat Parade.”

Kathryn tried to argue she wasn’t racist for supporting President Trump. During the argument, Kathryn sent Tamika a monkey emoji.

She wrote to Tamika, “grow a pair. You’re an L 7 weeeeeenieeee. That’s how serious I take this” along with a monkey emoji.

Gadsden posted the direct message conversation writing, “This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy.” Kathryn issued a half-hearted apology but fans have been demanding she be removed from the show.

As The Blast previously reported, the reality star lost a job as a brand ambassador amid the scandal. The clothing store, Gwynn's of Mount Pleasant, released a statement announcing they will no longer be working with Kathryn.

The statement read, “As a minority-owned business, Gwynn’s and our employees are dedicated to serving all members of our community. Indisputably Kathryn Dennis’ comments and statements to Tamika Gadsen do not reflect the values of the Gwynn’s brand. Her previous affiliation as a brand ambassador was periodic and on a contract basis. We stand in unity with people of color and with causes that fight to end injustices.”

Bravo has yet to comment.
