Soulja Boy is accused of blowing off the assault lawsuit brought by his ex-girlfriend and is close to being hit with a $2 million default judgment.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Soulja’s ex, Kayla, is in court asking the judge to grant her a judgment due to the rapper blowing off the case.
Kayla says she served her ex with the legal papers and is tired of waiting around for him to respond. In the docs, she is asking the court to award her $2 million in damages plus $20,615.25 for a grand total of $2,020,615.25. A judge has yet to rule.
As The Blast previously reported, back in January, Soulja Boy was sued by a woman named Kayla. In the lawsuit, she accused him of violently bashing her in the head with a gun, ordering her to be tied up and
In the suit, Kayla claims she was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Soulja for 4 years. Kayla claims in February 2019, she got into a physical altercation with one of Soulja’s female employees.
During the fight, she claims the rapper approached the scene and started yelling profanities. Kayla claims he proceeded to kick her, stomp on her stomach and “bashed her head with a large gun.”
The suit claimed Soulja, “held the gun to her (the woman’s) head and told her she was going to die that night and would not make it home.” She claims she was “hurt so badly that she had trouble breathing.”
Kayla says the rapper ordered his assistant to take her to a shower. She claims the assistant watched her undressed and shower. The woman says Soulja ordered his assistant to take her into the garage and tie her up with duct tape. She says Soulja then had his assistant tie her up with an extension cord. The suit says people watched her at the home for four hours.
One man offered to let her go in exchange for oral sex. Kayla felt she had no choice but but to perform oral sex. She was finally allowed to leave the next morning and rushed to the police to file a report. She was taken to a hospital where she was told she had three fractured ribs and a facial contusion.
The woman is suing for assault & battery, false imprisonment, and sexual battery. She is suing for an undisclosed amount but says she continues to suffer from emotional distress, anxiety, depression, humiliation, and fear.
