In a series of shots Snoop delivered on Wednesday to Yeezy, the Doggfather made many references to “Get Out,” which continues to be a long running joke that even Kanye addressed when he showed pictures of his house and claimed that it was not the “sunken place.”
Much like Kanye, Snoop took advantage of technology and filmed an Animoji of his own face blasting Kanye before posting a picture of the rapper and saying his actions as of late have been “mighty white.”
Snoop may be the most outspoken, but he’s not alone. Fellow hip-hop star 2 Chainz liked the post, as did non hip-hop star Sean Penn.
Finally, John Legend posted a series of Tweets on Wednesday alluding to Kanye without actually mentioning his name: “I love that great, brilliant artists have the power to imagine a better future. But artist’s can’t be blind to the truth.”
He continued, “The defining trait of Trump’s campaign and political profile was his embrace of white supremacy. He made it clear every time he spoke. Some serious cognitive dissonance to ignore that for the other x% you might find appealing.”
Kanye has been getting major heat for his support of Donald Trump, and even backtracked a bit yesterday when he announced that Kim Kardashian called and forced him to clear up that he doesn’t agree with everything the President does.
Still, for all of Kanye’s peers that are dumping the rapper over his outspoken views … he’s got one very big fan in his corner.
