Snoop Dog Pays Tribute to Late Grandson In First Show Since 10-Day-Old's Death

Snoop Dogg paid homage to his late grandson during his first show back after the 10-day-old infant's death.

The legendary rapper hit the stage with Wu-Tang Clan on Friday, days after Kai Love Broadus' passing and shared a special photo dedicated to the baby.

Sharing a snap of him onstage, Snoop wrote, "My safe haven" with his grandson's initials "KB." He also made sure to include prayer hands and rose emojis.


The 25th anniversary event celebrating "Doggystyle" and "36 Chambers" went down at Jiffy Lube Live in in Prince William County, Virginia.

Snoop shared several snaps from behind-the-scenes that showed he was leaning on friends like Method Man and Warren G during this difficult time.

"Brotherhood," he wrote seeming to be in okay spirits considering his family's tragedy.

As The Blast reported, Snoop Dogg's oldest son, Corde, revealed this week that his son had passed away at just 10 days old.

"Kai Love 9/15/19 - 9/25/19 ///// My Son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us. Let’s all cherish life and those we love while we are here," he wrote.

Revealing the baby "died in my arms," Corde stated, "that feeling of energy will never leave me."

He made sure to take some sort of positivity out of his death and added, "Kai wants all of you to kno he’s doing great and wants to continue to inspire those who light is dim."

Corde did not reveal what the cause of death was, but turned around thanked fans for their support.

Although Snoop's tribute was subtle, it's the first time he seemingly addressed his grandson's sad death.
