"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador will collect $138,000 from Alexis Bellino’s ex-husband, Jim, with a judge ordering that he cover her attorney bills.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, an Orange County judge has awarded Beador a total of $137,340.25 for legal bills.
Beador was successful in getting the lawsuit filed against her by Jim Bellino dismissed. He had accused her and Tamra Judge of defaming him with comments about his business and split from Alexis.
The judge didn’t agree and dismissed Beador ( Tamra Judge is still fighting Bellino in the case) and she sought a total of $220,000 in attorney fees from Bellino. He objected demanding the judge not award her the amount saying it was excessive and unreasonable.
The court did its own math and calculations and came to the $137k amount.
Last year, Jim Bellino sued Beador and Judge, accusing them of defaming his good name by trashing his family on a podcast with comedian Heather McDonald.
He accused the reality stars of spreading lies that his divorce was fake and that his trampoline business had left customers paralyzed and claimed, “he’s going to jail.”
Jim sued seeking in excess of $1 million for the damage Tamra and Shannon allegedly caused his life.
The reality stars fired back, demanding the case against them be dismissed. Both denied defaming Jim and said all of their statements were rooted in truth.
Shannon is on a roll as she also settled her divorce recently and walked away with a $1.4 million lump sum, and $10,000 a month in support from her ex David Beador.
She also moved out of her O.C. mansion recently but has yet to reveal her new digs.
