“Bad Girls Club” star Shannade Clermont has checked out of prison after serving less than a year behind bars.

Shannade’s twin sister Shannon shared a video of the reality star being released from prison on Instagram. In the clip, she can be seen getting ready to board a bus with other people. The model looks extremely put together for someone leaving prison.

She is wearing a red jacket with matching red pants. Shannade starts to get emotional after reuniting with another girl on the bus.

According to official records, Shannade’s scheduled release date was set for June 2, 2020. The Yeezy model originally checked into prison in June. Shannade served close to a year at FCI Dublin located in California. The facility is a low-security federal correctional institution that holds about 1,298 inmates.

In April 2019, Shannade was sentenced to one year in prison after she pled guilty to one count of fraud. The model was facing up to 20 years in prison. Prosecutors accused the model of making $20,000 in purchases on a credit card she swiped from a man who died after hiring her as a prostitute. She pleaded for a sentence with no prison time but the judge didn’t see things her way.

Shannade was never accused of playing a role in the death. The death was ruled an overdose.

The original indictment charged the model with three felonies, including wire fraud, access device fraud and identity theft.

After her release, Shannade has to complete three years of supervised release. She will have to participate in an outpatient treatment program, which will include testing for drugs and alcohol.

The original criminal indictment read, “on the evening of January 31, 2017, the defendant arranged to have a prostitution date with a man (the “Victim”) at his Manhattan apartment.

Further, “Although it is unknown what happened while the defendant was inside the Victim’s apartment for over three hours, the Victim was found dead the next morning from a drug overdose, there were baggies of cocaine and a tablet that contained fentanyl around the apartment, and a loose condom that appeared to have been broken was found on the Victim’s bed.”
