1. Netflix Users Are In Mourning

Netflix users have had their fair share of disappointment lately with the news that Friends would be leaving the streaming service in 2020 and that The Office would be following in 2021. For fans of classic sitcoms, this is quite a hit.

Friends will land at HBO Max and The Office to Comcast's upcoming streaming platform, meaning that fans will have to subscribe to additional services to watch their favorites. Remember when streaming was different than cable?

2. 'Seinfeld' Is Coming In 2021

However, Netflix announced on Monday that all 180 episodes of Seinfeld would be available on Netflix starting in 2021. Goodbye, Michael Scott. Hello, George Costanza.

Seinfeld ran on NBC from 1989 to 1998 and is considered one of the funniest and most influential sitcoms of all time. For a show about nothing, it sure holds up after all these years.

3. Making The Move From Hulu

Seinfeld is currently available to stream on Hulu, but Netflix allegedly paid upwards of $500 million to acquire the global streaming rights when that deal expires.

Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement:

"Seinfeld is the television comedy that all television comedy is measured against. It is as fresh and funny as ever, and will be available to the world in 4K for the first time. We can’t wait to welcome Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer to their new global home on Netflix."
