Scott Disick Says He Is NOT In Rehab For Drugs And Alcohol -- Taking Legal Action Against Facility

Scott Disick is adamant he is not receiving treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, the 'KUWTK' star claims he checked in to rehab for trauma and pain related to the death of his parents. Plus, he has left the facility and plans on taking legal action for the alleged leak of his information.

According to a statement issued by Disick's lawyer, Marty Singer, "In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas."

He continued, "He did not check-in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse. Shockingly as a result of the HIPA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action."

As we reported, earlier today Dailymail published a story claiming Scott had entered a Colorado rehab facility for cocaine and alcohol abuse. In the report, the website citing sources who said Scott joined a Zoom call introducing himself from inside the treatment center.

Plans On Taking Legal Action Against Facility For Leaked Information

The story added that Scott Disick had been partying hard for some time during the quarantine, and checked into the facility for substance abuse last Tuesday.

As we reported, Scott was hospitalized back in 2017, after paramedics were called to his home over a possible 5150. Scott has received treatment in the past based on several issues, including substance abuse.

According to Dailymail, Scott appeared to be very skinny upon entering the rehab facility and claimed he was suffering from some sort of withdrawal symptoms. The website included a photo from inside the rehab center.

It's unclear if Scott is also taking legal action over the leak of the photograph.
