Scott Disick was forced to leave the treatment facility he had just checked into after a photograph and information was sent to the media about his stay — Now, the rehab center says it will take legal action against the person who was responsible for the leak.
According to reports, ‘All Points North Lodge’ in Colorado is upset after it became clear that someone inside the facility leaked a photo of Scott Disick entering the facility to a member of the media.
At this point, it is unclear if a staff member or another patient is responsible for leaking the photo and information out of the center.
According to Noah Nordheimer, President & CEO of ‘All Points North Lodge’ — his company is aware of the Disick photo which leaked and is currently investigating the situation.
In a statement, obtained by TMZ, Nordheimer said, “The protection of our clients’ personal and confidential information is of the utmost importance to us.”
He continued, the facility has a strict policy not to disclose any personal information about its patients, including just the confirmation that anyone is even inside the treatment center.
APN’s President added, If “any information relating to any client was ever obtained from APN facilities and provided to a media outlet” it would take immediate legal action against that individual. In a shot at the website who published it, he added, APN is “sickened by any publication who would report on an individual’s life struggles without their consent.”
As we reported, Scott Disick’s lawyer Marty Singer issued a statement following reports he had check into a rehab facility for cocaine and alcohol abuse.
“In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas,” Singer said.
He continued, “He did not check-in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse. Shockingly as a result of the HIPA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”
In the story, the website included specific information about Scott’s physical appearance and a photograph of him from inside of the treatment center.
Scott’s team believes the photo was taken by a staff member and not a patient in the facility and believe it could lead to criminal charges.
As we reported, as soon as Disick learned his photo and information had been leaked to the media, he immediately left the treatment center and returned home.
